Common Questions

Can you come outside business hours so we do not lose billable time?
Yes. Server work, migrations and anything disruptive is booked early morning, after 5pm or on a weekend by arrangement. Day-to-day fixes we usually handle remotely within the hour.

We have six to fifteen staff. Do we need a managed plan?
Not necessarily. If things rarely break, pay-as-you-go at $149/hr onsite is perfectly sensible. A managed plan makes sense once you are calling most weeks or you need patching, backups and security monitored without asking.

Our agency handles client deposits. How do we stop invoice fraud?
Two things: lock down your domain's email authentication so nobody can send email pretending to be you, and put a rule in place that bank details are verified by phone on a known number before any payment. We set both up as a one-off job.
